How Does it Work?
The Nd:YAG technology delivers pulses of light energy which cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessels. The treatment only affects the targeted vessels, leaving the surrounding tissue intact.
 
How Many Treatments are Needed?
Often, patients find that one treatment is sufficient for their vein removal needs. However, for optimal results, multiple treatments may be necessary since it depends on the number of vessels being treated and the color and size of the vessels.
 
Results to be Expected?
Most patients find that the majority of the treated veins have shown significant improvements within two to six weeks of treatment. However, your final results may not be apparent for several months.
